Through the EV Ready Buildings Grant, the NSW Government will co-fund up to 80% of the cost of each building upgrade, to a maximum of $80,000. It will also support the purchase and installation of up to 4 shared-use chargers in visitor parking spots.

The grant application process has two stages
Stage 1. Feasibility Assessment
The grant covers the cost of a feasibility assessment. Applicants are responsible for a $2,000 ex-GST contribution, with the NSW Government covering the rest. If you have a recent feasibility assessment, the NSW Government will review it at no cost.
Stage 2 – Infrastructure Upgrades
The grant co-funds 80% of eligible infrastructure costs, up to $80,000 per building. Additionally, it will cover 50% of eligible software subscription costs for two years, up to $1,200 per building.
